Southeast Morris County MUA (SMCMUA)
The SMCMUA serves approximately 100,000 people daily as the primary water authority for Morristown Town, Morris Township, Morris Plains Borough, and Hanover Township, with partial service to Mendham Borough/Township and Harding Township. SMCMUA draws from the Clyde Potts Reservoir, glacial sand and gravel aquifers, and the Brunswick aquifer through 8 production wells providing 10.2 MGD total capacity. Annual test reports for SMCMUA customers must be submitted to SMCMUA at 973-326-6880.
Morris County MUA (MCMUA) Water Division
The MCMUA Water Division provides wholesale water from its 8 wells in two wellfields (up to 218 million gallons per month) to Denville Township, Jefferson Township, Mine Hill Township, Mount Arlington Borough, Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, Randolph Township, Roxbury Township, Victory Gardens Borough, Wharton Borough, Netcong Borough, and portions of Mount Olive Township (Flanders Valley Well Field). Annual test reports for MCMUA-served properties are submitted to the applicable municipal water utility.
NJ American Water (North Region)
NJ American Water’s North region serves Butler Borough, Chatham Township, East Hanover Township, Kinnelon Borough, Lincoln Park Borough, Long Hill Township, Montville Township, Pequannock Township, Riverdale Borough, Rockaway Borough/Township (portions), and Washington Township (portions).
